MCube was engaged to manage and reposition a distressed 72-unit multifamily REO asset for future sale. At the start of the engagement, the property was only 59% occupied and required significant deferred maintenance work. MCube developed a targeted capital plan designed to improve marketability while controlling client investment. After the client approved the plan, MCube oversaw the repositioning strategy and helped improve occupancy from 59% to 93% within the first year. The result was a more stabilized, marketable asset positioned for a stronger sale outcome.
MCube supported the re-underwriting of a $300 million portfolio of non-performing European mixed-use loans. The engagement required more than basic underwriting: MCube developed automated underwriting models, prepared business plans and workout strategies, reviewed appraisals, summarized market and property data, and created marketing materials for the non-performing assets. The assignment was completed over 13 weeks, giving the client a structured, decision-ready view of portfolio risk, recovery strategy, and asset-level execution paths.
