Job Description (Senior Associate) :


Roles & Responsibilities :

  • To act as a lead analyst and independently execute projects for US / UK / Asia based investment banks, lenders, asset managers, hedge funds, large corporations and advisory firms
  • Understand scope of work and objectives based on client type and accordingly design work approach, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness and applicability
  • Perform in depth financial analysis and present them in a structured manner
  • Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation assignments
  • Maintain independent communication with the client and able to take clients through the various sections of the deliverable
  • Help the project lead decide on timelines with regards to his/ her section of the work
  • Aid in decision making related to client management
  • Conduct sanity checks based on knowledge and not necessarily only data
  • Ensure that risks / issues are identified and escalated to the project leads

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

  • Exceptional MS Office and Excel skills (Macros, VBAs and advanced programming skills is a big Plus)
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret financial statements
  • Knowledge of various modeling and valuation concepts and approaches
  • Knowledge of CMBS markets, various real estate property types and reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge of using third party reports, loan documents and analyzing borrower’s financial statement

Work Experience :

  • 3-4 years of relevant US Commercial Real Estate experience in a KPO or Consulting Firm or Financial Services Company in analyzing financial and operational information to underwrite and provide due diligence on commercial real estate properties. Use of market, industry and economic information to help make the investment decisions on behalf of lending / investment firms in real estate.

Educational Qualification :

  • Master’s or Post Graduate degree in Finance.
